FleX-RAY paper accepted by Photonics West

November 14, 2022

The 2nd anniversary of FleX-RAY came with the acceptance of the abstract “3D shape-sensor based on integrated optics in ultra-thin glass” by the Photonics West 2023 and its “Integrated Optics: Devices, Materials, and Technologies XXVII” conference. Considered as one of the most important events on photonics technologies, it offers ground for fruitful discussions on biomedical optics, biophotonics, industrial lasers, optoelectronics, microfabrication, MOEMS- MEMS, displays and quantum technologies. The event will be hosted in San Francisco, California, between 28 January - 2 February 2023.

The poster and the subsequent paper are authored by Jannis Koch, Adrian Droste, Martin Angelmahr, Günter Flachenecker, and Wolfgang Schade from Fraunhofer Heinrich HertzInstitute (Goslar). In particular, the poster of the paper article will be presented by the primary author Jannis Koch on the 1st of February, 2023, from 6-8 pm (PCT). It will show how laser- integrated optics in ultra-thin glass can be used to create a network of curvature sensors to determine the 3D shape of a surface.

Looking forward to presenting our FleX-RAY technologies, sharing our mission, exchanging ideas and receiving feedback from the global technological and global scientific community! You can find extra information on the FleX-RAY paper presentation below:
